Making a Difference

Our amazing team of regulars and part-time volunteers are committed to helping others. Our Greener Pastures Rescue network system is activated by the volunteers to begin an active search for a proper adoptive home for horse in need. Our volunteers are animal lovers in general, and horse lovers in particular. 

Greener Pastures Rescue was founded in 2002 by Inge Hieret and Dana Stillwell as a non-profit, volunteer organization dedicated to finding good, new homes for the unwanted, neglected or uncared-for horses of Connecticut.
